Crested Butte Fence
Crested Butte, Colorado
After an early morning shoot above timberline, I headed back down to Crested Butte for breakfast. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as I drove down Slate River road, but I noticed that the town and valley were fogged in. Just outside of town, I noticed an old fence disappearing in the distant fog, so I pulled over to capture this image. Crested Butte is a ski resort located in Southwest Colorado and calls itself the Wildflower Capitol of Colorado. Photo © copyright by Mike Barton.
