McClure Pass Autumn
McClure Pass Colorado
I visited this location on a weekend and took several shots, but when I looked at the images when I got home, I felt that there was a little too much green. I waited for a few days and got up at 3:30 am and drove 220 miles, hoping to get the color I was looking for. When I arrived at McClure Pass, it started to rain hard, but the rain stopped about a half hour later and I was able to capture this image with just enough green too make it interesting. And I made it back home by lunchtime. Photo © copyright by Mike Barton.
